SAM DE JONG Biography

Hailing from New Zealand, Sam de Jong made his start in the music industry at 16 years old as a touring drummer. His production, song writing and musicianship has been lent to a vast array of chart-topping artists across multiple genres, including Gary Clark Jr., Thirty Seconds to Mars, Noah Kahan, Robinson, MAALA, Stan Walker, Mitch James and Katy Perry’s latest signing CYN. In 2015, Sam was the lead music producer on the “The X Factor NZ” and “Dancing With The Stars NZ” TV series.

Sam signed with SonyATV in 2016 and is now based in Los Angeles, working with some of the industry’s top writers and producers including MoZella, Emily Warren, Joel Little and Mike Elizondo.
